Kevin Hart is writing a memoir about his experiences growing up and the early failures as a comedian that helped fuel his drive towards a prolific career.
Announced on Tuesday by the Atria Publishing Group, the comedian and actor is also becoming an author.
Hart has become a popular big-screen actor after appearing in the "Ride Along" films with Ice Cube, "Get Hard" with Will Ferrell and "The Wedding Ringer."
The book is scheduled for a release next year on Atria's 37 Ink imprint.
Hart added his children know he's a big deal because he tells them every day, soon he'll have a book to help prove his case.
