The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation announced today they will be honoring 5 women for their achievements in media. Those women are, Tina Fey of 30 Rock, Saturday Night Live, and the "Mean Girls". Angela Bassett who most recently appears on the show, "American Horror Story. Kathie Lee Gifford of "The Today Show" Actress, Cynthia Nixon, and Jada Pinkett Smith. The Foundation Chairwoman, Kristen Welch stated that she hopes the career achievements of these honorees will inspire future generations of women to undertake professions in entertainment and media
