Miles Teller, the actor who played Reed Richards in Fantastic Four said he and the actors didn't just phone it in and thinks that is unfair critique. Fantastic Four was lambasted buy filmgoers and critics and the worst critique of them all was an $80 million loss for 20th Century Fox. Teller reflected on the critique that the actors didn't work hard enough. He said, ""You work harder on the bad films, or the films that turn out maybe not the way you intended, because something?s not working. And I thought it was kind of unjustly critiqued that way." Teller also mentioned he had problems with his role in the script but he wasn't able to get changes made because he doesn't have that kind of clout with Hollywood.
