For the major label follow-up to her highly praised indie debut as a performing artist 12 Stories, the hit singer-songwriter turned to in-demand producer Jay Joyce. The revved up results of Big Day are sure to turn the heads of those who fell in love with Clark's intimate storytelling style. In an interview, Clark said she stepped outside her comfort zone by producing an album that was not too similar to 12 stories.
