During a PaleyFest panel for 'The Big Bang Theory' in Los Angeles on this week, it was announced that former "Taxi" star Judd Hirsch has been cast to play Leonard's dad for an upcoming episode. Over the show's nine seasons, there have been very few details have been spilled about Leonard's father, however, fans do know that he is an anthropologist who withheld affection for his son during Leonard's childhood. The Big Bang Theory returns on Thursday, March 31 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
