VIDEO : What Role Was Olivia Wilde Considered Too Old For?

When asked by Howard Stern during an interview this week if she'd ever not gotten a role because she was too good-looking, actress Olivia Wilde made a big confession. Wilde said, "The funniest thing I heard recently was I had heard for a part that I was too sophisticated. And then I found out later that they actually said 'old.'" Wilde later revealed that the part she was turned down for ended up being the wife of Leonardo DiCaprio's character in the Martin Scorsese film, The Wolf of Wall Street. Wilde, for her part, added that she kept a positive outlook, since the audition got her in front of Scorcese, who ended up giving her a big part in "Vinyl," his new HBO series.
