Flashdance star Jennifer Beals will play the female lead in NBC's upcoming Taken prequel TV series. Little is known about the specifics of Beals's role; she will star opposite Clive Standen in the series, which will also be called Taken. Rather than a capable retired CIA veteran, we'll see Bryan Mills in his early days of his career learning how to gain his skills. Standen's Bryan Mills will begin his adventures as a black ops agent in the elite Emergency Covert Action Team.
