Adele and the O2 Arena have history. The world-famous singer was at the large circular tent in North Greenwich only a few weeks ago, high on life, crying as Tim Peake gave her one of many awards and generally absolutely owning the awards ceremony. It was also here at the Brits, five years ago in February 2011, that she brought the whole building to a muted silence with a performance of "Someone Like You," accompanied by only a piano. On Tuesday, Adele returned to the arena for a two-hour long concert that brought everyone to their feet.
