VIDEO : Supergravity Nabs Australian Doc 'Gayby Baby' For U.S.

Supergravity Pictures, a company that markets and distributes films directly to fans, has acquired the domestic distribution rights to the Australian film "Gayby Baby," from director Maya Newell. The documentary follows the lives of four Australian children whose parents are gay, documenting their internal struggles and the challenges posed by a world that still questions the issue of marriage equality. The acquisition comes after "Gayby Baby" won the audience award for best documentary at the Sydney Film Festival. The film - which is the first documentary released by Supergravity - will be released to theaters in April, then become available for digital purchase in May.
