Marissa Tomei has been confirmed to play the role of Aunt May in the upcoming reboot of 'Spider-Man,' which can be seen next July, but the last person to portray Peter Parker's beloved guardian is Sally Field. Field appeared on Howard Stern's podcast recently to discuss her involvement with the movie, which she is not the biggest fan of. When asked about her performance, she said, "It's really hard to find a three-dimensional character in it," referring to her character's supporting nature in the cast. However, she did add that she enjoyed working with co-star Andrew Garfield and that he is a "lovely actor."
