The popularity of Taylor Swift's music videos may signal a decline in network television viewers according to a recent study conducted by the Nielsen Ratings firm. More people watched Taylor Swift's, music video, "Bad Blood" than every show on network television with the exception of NCIS: Los Angeles on CBS. The music video pulled in 18 million views in just seven days, and Drake's video for "Hotline Bling" received 6 million views during the week it was released. It's important to note this is not necessarily an apples to apples correlation because a music video takes up a lot less time than a network show does, however music video watchers tend to binge watch a whole catalogue of music videos once they are online.
