Rian Johnson's already a month into principal photography on Star Wars: Episode VIII. The writer and director posted an on-set photo of Cinematographer Steve Yedlinwrote and wrote it was hard to believe four weeks had passed already. The photo appears to show Yedlin standing in what looks like a cutaway set from the Millennium Falcon interior. Johnson has been slightly more open about his process, partly because he engages a lot with his Tumblr and Twitter. He regularly shares in-progress work and interacts with fans, press, and his own friends in the business. Star Wars fans can rest assured that Johnson will be more open than the famously secretive J.J. Abrams was while producing Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
