Vengeance: A Love Story, based on a Joyce Carol Oates? novel, will be directed by Nicolas Cage. Cage has also signed on to star in the film as Detective John Dromoor. Nicolas Cage will not only star in Vengeance: A Love Story, but he also has signed on to direct the film. The story focuses on Cage's character helping a woman named Teena who is raped on the Fourth of July. When asked about this project, Cage said, "Storytelling has always been my passion and I'm honored to work with this talented team to tell a tale of the suffering too many women have endured,? says Cage. The film will start production in April in Atlanta.
