The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that former 'Two and a Half Men' actor Charlie Sheen will star in the indie action-drama Nine Eleven. Sheen will star opposite Whoopi Goldberg in the movie, which began shooting on Monday in Los Angeles. Directed by Martin Guigui, Nine Eleven revolves around five individuals trapped in an elevator in the World Trade Center during the terrorist attacks of on Sept. 11, 2001, and their struggle to survive. The film marks a return to the big screen for Sheen, who most recently starred on the comedy series Anger Management.
