VIDEO : Joseph Gordon-Levitt Might Star in a Movie About the Birth of the KKK

Joseph Gordon-Levitt has signed on to produce and possible star in K Troop, a film about the birth of the KKK in the south just after the Civil War and Major Lewis Merrill, the man who led he U.S. Army against the KKK in 1871. The film is based on an as-of-yet unreleased Slate article by Matthew Pearl. That?s right. This drama will be adapted from an article that hasn?t even been published yet.
