Amy Adams is sort of joining American Hustle co-star Jennifer Lawrence in the gender pay gap conversation. In the latest issue of British GQ, the actress reveals that she knew she was being paid less than male co-stars Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale and Jeremy Renner. However, Adams chose not to discuss it saying, "I disagreed with not Jennifer per se, but people who had opinions on how women should go about negotiating." The actress added, "The truth is we hire people to negotiate on our behalf, men and women. I knew I was being paid less and I still agreed to do it because the option comes down to do it or don?t do it."
