The first trailer for "Nina" - the biographical film which tells the story of late jazz singer and pianist Nina Simone - has hit the internet. In it, viewers get their first look at Zoe Saldana's portrayal of the famous jazz personality. Marking the directorial debut of Cynthia Mort, "Nina" focuses on Simone's relationship with her nurse-turned-manager Clifton Henderson - played by Selma's David Oyelowo. The casting of Saldana was not without some controversy, as many critics and even the singer's family felt the actress was miscast. Saldana - who is ethnically Dominican and Puerto Rican - had to wear a prosthetic nose and makeup to darken her skin for the role. The film - which comes on the heels of last year's successful Netflix documentary, "What Happened Miss Simone?" hits theater on April 22.
