Salma Hayek wants to know exactly what happened to her beloved dog. Just a few days after the actress revealed to fans that her German Shepard mix Mozart was shot to death in Washington, the animal lover is speaking out and thanking fans for their love. According to Thurston County police officials in Washington, a caretaker for Salma's animals went for a horseback ride along with a few dogs on Feb. 19. At the end of a road, the animals took off running towards the sounds of other dogs barking on a nearby property.
While the caretaker was able to regroup most of the dogs, Mozart ventured off a different path and went missing. After searching for the pet, the caretaker found Mozart deceased on a trail.
On Feb. 28, police made contact with a neighbor who admitted to shooting at one of the dogs with his pellet gun.
