GossipCop called out the weekly on its 'phony' source, who said Shelton sided with his ex after hearing about the texts. The weekly says the alleged source texted Stefani that her career was over because her music was not relevant. When Shelton found out, he backed his ex and suggested Stefani calm down. The weekly reported that was the last straw for Stefani who split with Shelton.
