Actor Billy Bob Thornton has been suggested to play Steven Avery in a movie adaptation of Making a Murderer. The 60-year-old actor is favourite to play the accused murder suspect. Avery's story has been retold by Netflix in one of the most talked about documentary series of recent times. Chances of Billy landing the role currently stand at 9/2, according to odds given by Irish bookmaker BoyleSports. He also faces competition from Pineapple Express actor Danny McBride. The Hateful Eight's Jeff Bridges is also in the running with 9/1 odds.
