Taboo is the latest television series from the creator of Peaky Blinders and the writer/director of Locke, Steven Knight. The series stars Knight?s Locke collaborator, Tom Hardy (Mad Max: Fury Road) as James Keziah Delaney, a world-wearied, nineteenth century Englishman looking to return home and inherit his father?s vast shipping empire after spending time in Africa in 1814. Taboo is set to air on FX, with Ridley Scott serving as executive producer, in what is sure to be another head-turning lead role from the often enigmatic A-list performer Hardy.
