Katey Sagal is returning to comedy. The Sons of Anarchy and Bastard Executioner alum has been tapped to star in CBS' untitled comedy pilot based on Australian format Upper Middle Bogen. Sagal will portray Julie, John Carroll Lynch's wife and the matriarch of the family. The role marks Sagal's return to on-screen series regular comedy following her seven-season run on FX's Sons of Anarchy and her one-season turn on husband Kurt Sutter's follow-up at the network, Bastard Executioner.
