The first trailer for Academy Award nominee Tom Hardy's upcoming FX miniseries, Taboo, teases quite the twisty tale. In the 8-part, 1814-set drama series, Hardy plays James Keziah Delaney, a man who was believed dead but returns to his former life in London an irrevocably changed person. His return coincides with the death of his father, whose shipping empire was left to him. a logline from the network says, "His father's legacy is a poisoned chalice, and with enemies lurking in every dark corner, James must navigate increasingly complex territories to avoid his own death sentence,"
