In a show of support Taylor Swift has donated a substantial sum to her fellow pop star Kesha.
A representative for Swift stated she donated $250,000 for her financial needs during this trying time.
Two days after a judge ruled against Kesha seeking a legal release from her record contract.
Signed in 2005, Kesha recently requested an injunction to make music outside of her six-album deal with Kemosabe Records.
But Swift isn't the only leading lady standing behind Kesha after the ruling; Lady Gaga, Kelly Clarkson, Janelle Monae, and Demi Lovato have also shown support.
