Girls creator Lena Dunham was already on the long list of celebrities who have spoken out in support of Kesha, who is currently embroiled in a nasty legal battle with Sony and her producer Dr. Luke.
Dunham has now published a 1,300-word essay expressing her fury about the case.
she writes in her essay in the Lenny newsletter,
"What?s happening to Kesha highlights the way that the American legal system continues to hurt women by failing to protect them from the men they identify as their abusers,"
