The star of Driving Miss Daisy, Morgan Freeman, has teamed up with the Waze app, allowing travelers to be guided by the sweet, gravelly sound of his voice. Freeman, who won an Academy Award in 2005 for Million Dollar Baby, is the newest celebrity voice to appear on the free Google navigation app, Waze. With one of the most recognizable and distinguished voices in the voiceover business, Freeman will definitely lend a tone of authority to even the shortest, most frivolous of errands. The timing of the promotion is not coincidental, given that Freeman is helping to promote his newest film, London Has Fallen, in which he plays the U.S. vice president.
