Lauryn Hill disappointed scores of fans when she was a no-show at the 2016 Grammys but on Friday, she gave them the performance and collaboration they were waiting for. The 40-year-old R&B singer and The Weeknd performed his single "In the Night" on NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Her appearance was a surprise?The Weeknd, 26, introduced her one minute and 40 seconds into his set. The Weeknd tweeted "Most important experience of my life. Thank you Ms. Hill," Recording Academy President Neil Portnow told USA Today after the Grammys the two were expected to perform the song together at the ceremony, calling her absence a "disappointment." The Weeknd ended up performing the track alone.
