Although Lauryn Hill could not make the Grammys for a possible performance with the Weeknd, Jimmy Fallon got the logistics just right for his Friday night show.
Viewers of The Tonight Show got to see the duo perform their Grammy night duet.
Joining Abel Tesfaye during, "In the Night," the singers vocally bounced off each other during the intense rendition of the song.
The single is a part of the Weeknd's latest album release, Beauty Behind the Madness.
According to a representative for Ms. Hill, the publicized Grammy performance was suppose to be a surprise.
The rep added that the Grammys made the public announcement prematurely and without Ms. Hill's permission.
