70-year-old Steve Martin surprised an audience at New York?s Beacon Theatre this Thursday by performing a stand-up set. This is a huge deal, because Martin hasn?t performed stand-up since 1981. He was performing for Jerry Seinfeld?s newly monthly show. Although his set was only 10 minutes long, he had audiences rolling and finished his performance by stating, ?I?m here tonight because of that old showbiz saying: Never los a bet to Jerry.?
