VIDEO : Shia LaBeouf's New Performance Art Piece Will Take Place In an Elevator

Shia LaBeouf, along with fellow artists Nastja Säde Rönkkö and Luke Turner, are staying in an elevator for 24 hours, and streaming it online, of course. LaBeouf, once known for his geeky, enduring characters in the Transformers films and Disney Channel?s Even Stevens, is now creating interactive performance art pieces. The most recent is titled #ELEVATE and is taking place in Oxford, England. The 29-year-old will be speaking at Oxford University on Friday night and for the 24 hours on either side of the chat, Shia and the gang will ride up and down in an elevator at EC English Oxford in Gloucester Green, inviting anyone and everyone to come take a ride and have a chat with the movie star and his colleagues.
