After the departure of "True Detective" director Cary Fukunaga due to creative differences, the feature film adaptation of Stephen King's "IT" has landed a new creative team. Andy Muscietti is slated to direct from a script by Gary Doberman, which, according to producer Roy Lee, should start shooting later this year. New Line is still planning to split the adaptation into two films, given that King's classic tale takes place in two time periods. According to Lee, ?we?re taking it and making the movie from the point of view of the kids, and then making another movie from the point of view of the adults.?
