Taylor Swift received an unusual trophy after for Best International Solo Artist at the 2016 NME Awards. The 1989 singer sent a pre-recorded acceptance video to say thank you for the award of a hand giving the middle finger. In the video, Swift said the trophy felt a little aggressive at first,, but now she sees it as a strange compliment.
Her latest trophy adds to the three Grammys she took home Monday night, including Album of the Year for 1989. While accepting the coveted award, the "Out of the Woods" singer threw permanent frenemy Kanye West the ultimate shade. She told the audience that success comes from yourself and your friends, not those who want to sidetrack you and take credit for your work.
