Blindspot star Jaimie Alexander has a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Lady Sif, warrior of Asgard. She?s appeared in Thor and its sequel, Thor: The Dark World, and appeared twice in Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. But Alexander had a chance to cross universes. She was for the role of Wonder Woman in DC Comics Extended Universe, but was passed over by Warner Bros. in favor of Gal Gadot. When asked if that was a disappointment, Alexander didn?t seem at all bitter.?Not at all,? she told Variety. ?I?m excited to see what she?s going to do with the role. I was one of a few people that were an obvious choice for Wonder Woman, but it was never going to happen. I?m contracted with Marvel and it would (be) strange. Sif, in her way, is Marvel?s Wonder Woman.
