Production on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has officially begun in Atlanta, Ga, and with that announcement comes the official cast listing.
Along with familiar faces returning from the first film, several new cast members have been added. The highest profile new addition is Kurt Russell, who had been rumored previously but is now confirmed. The press release does not name Russell?s character.
Rumors were circulating a few months ago that Russell would play Peter Quill's father but we'll just have to wait and see!
