VIDEO : Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler Under Federal Investigation for Vandalism

Actress Vanessa Hudgens is under investigation for a social media post that has authorities wondering whether she and her boyfriend defaced one of Arizona's protected red rocks. Hudgens was with her boyfriend, actor Austin Butler, at Coconino National Forest in Sedona. Hudgens posted a purported picture on her Instagram account of a heart with the names "Austin + Vanessa" scratched into the face of one of the red rocks. The post has since been removed. According to the rules of the park, defacing a "geological object," like one of the red rocks, would qualify as a Class 2 misdemeanor, which carries a maximum penalty of 6 months in jail and/or a $5,000 fine.
