On a promotional campaign for his upcoming superhero tentpole "Batman VS Superman," actor Ben Affleck told reporters that he sought advice on donning the bat-mask from George Clooney and Christian Bale. Affleck revealed his trepidation towards stepping into the iconic comic book role, and said the insight gained from his predecessors was invaluable. The actor stars opposite Henry Cavill's Superman, and also admitted he had concerns regarding Superman's toned physique. The 43 year old told Good Morning America, "I saw Henry's movie and thought, there's no way I'm going to be in that good shape. He definitely set a high bar but Superman has to because he's an alien. I figured I had a lower bar to reach, Batman's just a man after all. I put on about 20lbs of muscle which is really hard to do, especially at my advanced age." "Batman Vs Superman" hits theaters next month.
