Filmmaker John Carpenter announced recently that he will release Lost Themes II, which is the follow-up to the director's 2015 debut LP. Lost Themes will be out this spring, and the 68-year-old composer has also announced a tour that will kick off June 15th in Portland. Carpenter has already shared the album's opening track, "Distant Dream," online. Carpenter is best known for his films Halloween, Assault on Precinct 13 and Escape From New York.
