Now that he's delivering a tour de force performance in Crime Story, playing athlete-turned-actor OJ Simpson as both a charmer and a man teeming with rage, pathos and tragedy. The role, Gooding revealed , has tested him on many levels, including his original feeling about the trial's not guilty verdict.
