VIDEO : Kendrick Lamar Sweeps Rap Awards At 2016 Grammys

Kendrick Lamar took home the first Grammy award of the night, "Best Rap Album" at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards on Monday for his hit album, To Pimp a Butterfly . The 28-year-old beat out J. Cole's 2014 Forest Hills Drive, Nicki Minaj's The Pinkprint, Dr. Dre's Compton and Drake's If You're Reading This It's Too Late.Kendrick received a standing ovation from the audience. He started off his acceptance speech by saying, "First off all glory to God, that's for sure." Lamar also scooped up awards for "Best Rap Song" and "Best Rap Performance" for his song "Alright."
