News has now learned that Lauryn Hill also backed out of a planned surprise drop in on The Weeknd 's rousing set early in the show. Apparently, Lauryn is claiming the Grammys announced her participation without her consent. Hill's camp has released a statement detailing her side of things, making it clear that her involvement was never a done deal.
