Monday night's Grammy awards saw Lady Gaga paying psychedelic tribute to the late British music idol David Bowie. Gaga gave a multimedia song-and-dance performance that truly captured the forward looking nature of the artist Lady Gaga has identified as a personal inspiration. Bowie passed away on January 10th at the age of 69, but his entire career was focused on gender-bending, boundary pushing performance art much like the work of Lady Gaga. His final album, released just days before his death, continued to prove his musical genius. Twenty-nine year old Gaga even arrived on the red carpet sporting a signature androgynously Bowie style. Gaga's tribute medley was a tear-jerking remembrance of David Bowie's influence.
