At the 2016 Grammy awards, David Bowie 's spirit was given its due. Lady Gaga performed a fantastic tribute to the rock god on Monday night. Bowie, after an outstanding career as a musical artist, passed away at the age of 69 on January 10th. Of all of Bowie's many fabulous performance personas, Gaga chose to channel Ziggy Stardust. Mother Monster wore a white embellished suit, white shoes and a light pink feathered boa. Lady Gaga performed a tear-jerking medley of Bowie songs, starting with "Space Oddity."
