Kerry Washington 's new role is still quite scandalous. The star will play Anita Hill in HBO's Confirmation. According to HBO, the "film details the explosive 1991 Clarence Thomas Supreme Court nomination hearings, which brought the country to a standstill and forever changed the way we think about sexual harassment, victims' rights and modern-day race relations." Kerry Washingtn will be joined by The Wire's Wendell Pierce who plays Clarence Thomas, Greg Kinnear playing Joe Biden alongside Jennifer Hudson.
