James Corden turned down hosting the Late Late show twice. Cordon was beyond skeptical about the idea of hosting an American Late Night show. In an interview with the menswear website Mr. Porter , the 37-year-old Brit spoke about his big career move. He also talked about relocating from his native England to Los Angeles. Corden took over as the host of The Late Late Show last March, replacing Scottish star Craig Ferguson. Some of Corden's past credits include parts on British comedies such as Teachers and Gavin & Stacey.
