Kate Winslet is a real trooper. The Oscar winner admits that she forced herself to work through some major pain while shooting the new dirty cop drama Triple 9 . In the movie, she plays an evil Russian mobster, whose over-the-top fashion includes an incredible pair of red knee-high boots. The boots were custom-made because, as Winslet said, "I have quite big feet." But the day before she was to slip them on, she was shooting a scene in a restaurant. According to E! News, as bad luck would have it, a large chair ended up falling on her foot--and broke her big toe. Still, fearing that she would upset director John Hillcoat and costume designer Margot Wilson, she pretended nothing was wrong. Winslet stuffed that foot, with its black and blue and swollen toe, right back into the boot the very next day.
