Carlos Santana has written an open letter to Super Bowl bosses, criticizing them for not including iconic San Francisco acts in the half-time show. The Latino guitar legend provided music for the CBS telecast of the big game, but wrote in his letter that he was disappointed with Coldplay, Beyonce and Bruno Mars? performances at Levi?s Stadium. Santana wrote on his Facebook.com page on Tuesday, "Bands like Metallica, Steve Miller, Journey and yours truly. We would have rocked the halftime show and done the S.F. Bay Area proud. This is just an invitation for you to consider iconic bands as part of your halftime entertainment."
