VIDEO : Taylor Swift, The Weeknd Dominate IHeartRadio Music Award Nomination

Taylor Swift and The Weeknd lead the nominations for the iHeartRadio Music Awards which were announced Tuesday. Swift has eight nominations and the Weeknd has seven and both artist were nominated for album of the year. The pair were also nominated for artist of the year, which has been split into two categories this year for male and female artist. Swift will compete for the award against Adele, Carrie Underwood, Meghan Trainor and Selena Gomez. The Weeknd was nominated along with Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Luke Bryan and Sam Smith. The award show also added new categories such as best tour, best song from a movie and country artist of the year.
