It's not a secret that Fox has been fast and loose with the cinematic timeline of X-men. To try to make any sense of it would be a little pointless. But now you don't have to worry about that with 2016's Deadpool, as Ryan Reynolds believes that Merc with a Mouth is in a separate universe altogether. In a recent interview, a reporter brought up the timeline to Reynolds who proceeded to talk about how Deadpool is not affected by the timeline at all, saying he is just his own thing, his own universe.
