A day after the Super Bowl, people are still analyzing each frame from Beyonce's halftime performance, attempting to garner the messages, both indirect and evident, that made for a striking demonstration of unapologetic blackness and political activism during one of the most-watched events of the year. The halftime show is gaining praise from her fans and alarm from critics. While many commend her embracing of the history of black activism and her own identity, others are condemning it for being anti-police.
