Maya Rudolph begins her guest arc on The Grinder this week, and she made a video with her costars the only way she knows how: a la Saturday Night Live, her home of seven years. But unfortunately, it seems she's not exactly sure how this whole "scripted TV" thing works, and is very disappointed when The Grinder star Rob Lowe informs her that she's not actually hosting The Grinder, she's actually guest-starring. After Fred Savage crushes her dreams about having a musical guest, Rudolph responds, "Wow, the audience is going to be really disappointed." Rudolph begins her four-episode guest stint on February 9, playing Stewart's therapist, Jillian, whom the younger Sanderson brother began seeing when his TV star older brother moved home and shook up his entire existence. The Grinder airs Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. on Fox.
